The JMPA have held their AGM and are now getting ready for the 2009-2010 season. There will be a full calendar published on the ATPA web site.
The JMPA is working on having a spare mower available at events this season to allow more kids to have a go.
Another exiting part of this coming season will be the JMPA participating in some of the Schools Mower Program Special Events. The Schools Mower Program was started by Ouyen Secondary College as a way to keep students in Years 9 and 10 at school by providing hands on learning.
The program has since expanded to Finley Secondary College and now other schools are becoming interested in the program. Alexandra Secondary College will be hosting an introduction day on Saturday 25th July and the JMPA will be coming along to help. We will also be participating in the Henty Field Days on 22, 23 and 24th of September.
The first Australian Tractor Pull for 2009-2010 will be at the Royal Geelong Show on Sunday 18th of October with displays on the 16th and 17th.
